2026 Week 4 Fantasy Football: Buccaneers Injury Report — Godwin, McMillan, Mayfield All in Doubt vs. Packers
Tampa Bay's offense is a mess heading into Week 4, with their QB out and two top receivers either injured or on IR.
According to ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports), the Buccaneers are dealing with a wave of injuries ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Packers — and the fantasy implications are significant. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is confirmed out. Wide receiver Chris Godwin sat out Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. And wideout Jalen McMillan was placed on injured reserve a day earlier with a knee injury reportedly expected to sideline him 6-to-8 weeks.
That's two of Tampa Bay's top pass-catchers suddenly gone or in jeopardy, behind a backup quarterback. Running back Bucky Irving was a limited participant with a glute issue. The fantasy picture in Tampa is genuinely ugly right now.
Baker Mayfield
Mayfield is confirmed out against Green Bay, per ProFootballTalk. That alone tanks the entire Tampa Bay passing game's fantasy ceiling this week. Whoever starts under center is an unknown, and that uncertainty bleeds down to every skill-position player on this roster. Fade Bucs pass-catchers as a default unless something changes later in the week.
Chris Godwin
Godwin missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury and has 10 catches for 111 yards on the season. His status for Sunday is very much up in the air. Even if he plays, he'd be doing so with a backup QB and without McMillan drawing attention elsewhere. The matchup math doesn't work — don't force him into your lineup this week.
Bucky Irving
Irving was a limited participant with a glute issue — something to monitor but not panic over yet. If he's healthy, the ground game could actually be Tampa's most reliable fantasy avenue this week given the QB situation. Watch his practice designations Thursday and Friday before making any decisions.
