Ask FFAnalyst

FFAnalyst isn't a chatbot you talk to on this site — it's a set of live tools your own Claude (or any MCP-compatible agent) can call directly, mid-conversation, grounded in real, current FFAnalyst data. You bring the agent; we bring the fantasy football knowledge.

Connect once, ask anywhere

  1. 1. Open your AI client's connector settings.

Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors. claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Other MCP-compatible clients have an equivalent screen.

  2. 2. Add a new connector named "FFAnalyst" with this URL:
    https://ffanalyst.com/api/mcp
  3. 3. That's it — no sign-in, no account.

Every tool is public and read-only, so there's nothing to authorize. Ask your agent a question and it calls in as needed.

Pair with your own league (optional)

FFAnalyst doesn't sync your roster or league (a deliberate choice, not a gap — see below). Add a roster-sync connector alongside this one and the same agent session can reason over both: your real team, and FFAnalyst's grounded data and analysis. League Loom is a free, read-only connector we like for this — Sleeper, ESPN, and Fantrax leagues, independently built and operated (not affiliated with FFAnalyst).

Add it the same way, as a second connector:

https://leagueloom.com/mcp

League Loom's own guided setup connects your actual leagues after you add it — that part happens on their end, not ours. Once both are connected, try something like: "Using my Sleeper roster, who should I start at RB2 this week?" — your agent pulls your real bench from League Loom and this week's matchup and injury context from FFAnalyst in the same answer.

What you can ask

  • "What's the Chiefs' depth chart right now?"

    get_team_depth_chart

  • "What should I know about Puka Nacua this week?"

    get_player_info

  • "Give me context on the 49ers' next game."

    get_matchup_context

  • "Show me FFAnalyst's running back draft guide."

    get_draft_guide

  • "Any recent news on Brock Purdy?"

    search_whitelisted_news

Why not a chatbot?

Most fantasy sites already sync your league and offer their own draft/lineup tools — but only through their own site or app. The bet here is different: FFAnalyst's job is being the best possible fantasy football knowledge layer for wherever you already run your own agent, not building another destination to visit. Your agent supplies your team and league context (tell it in conversation, or connect a roster-sync tool alongside this one); FFAnalyst supplies grounded, current data and its own published analysis.
