2026 Week 6 Fantasy Football: Panthers Injury Report — AJ Dillon Sits, Bryce Young Full Go

Dillon's ankle kept him out of Tuesday's practice, and Trevor Etienne's return from IR looms as the bigger backfield story.

According to ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports), the Carolina Panthers released their first injury report of Week 6 on Wednesday after practicing Tuesday coming out of their bye. Rookie right tackle Monroe Freeling (knee) and running back AJ Dillon (ankle) were the only two players who did not participate. Quarterback Bryce Young (knee) was a full participant for the fourth straight practice since injuring his knee.

AJ Dillon

Dillon missing Tuesday's practice with an ankle injury is a flag worth watching — but the bigger threat to his fantasy value may already be on the roster. Per a separate ProFootballTalk report from Monday, the Panthers designated running back Trevor Etienne for return from injured reserve, and Etienne was a full participant Tuesday (in his 21-day return-to-practice window). If Etienne is activated, Dillon's role shrinks. If Dillon can't practice at all this week, he's a real fade candidate regardless. Check the Thursday and Friday reports before making any lineup decisions.

Bryce Young

Nothing to worry about here. ProFootballTalk notes Young has been a full participant in all four practices since the knee injury and remains on the report in name only. He's fine to start in all formats — no downgrade needed.
