2026 Week 8 Fantasy Football Breaking News: Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price Return for Seahawks on Monday Night
Both Seattle backs are active for Monday's game against the Bears — here's what it means for your lineup.
According to ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports), Seahawks running backs Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price will both play Monday night against the Bears — the first time the two will share a game together. Neither carries an injury designation heading into kickoff.
Zach Charbonnet
Charbonnet is returning from a torn ACL in his left knee, an injury he suffered on his fifth carry in the 2025 divisional-round playoff game. He posted 730 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 184 carries during the 2025 regular season while sharing the backfield with Kenneth Walker. The Seahawks opened his 21-day return-to-practice window on Oct. 1, and he's now cleared to play. The big unknown is workload — this is his first game action since the surgery, and it's reasonable to expect the team to manage his reps rather than hand him a full 20-carry workload right out of the gate. Treat him as a high-upside flex with meaningful snap-share risk in redraft; in dynasty, this clears the last major concern about his availability.
Jadarian Price
Price returns from four games on injured reserve with a chest injury. He had accumulated 32 touches for 140 yards before landing on IR. Per ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports), the Seahawks will need to make a corresponding roster move to activate him from IR — that move hadn't been confirmed at the time of the report. His role alongside Charbonnet in the same backfield for the first time adds real uncertainty to his touch ceiling tonight. He's a dart-throw at best in redraft given the crowded backfield; dynasty managers should be monitoring his usage closely as a long-term buy-low candidate if the role is there.
The connection between these two is the key fantasy angle: with both Charbonnet and Price active at the same time, the carries that went to the depth backs — Emanuel Wilson (averaging 16.7 touches and 40.2% snap share over 7 games) and George Holani (6.9 touches, 39.9% snap share) — figure to take a significant hit. Wilson had been the primary beneficiary of the backfield vacancy. He would still be next in line if either Charbonnet or Price were to exit the game, but expecting his volume to hold with two backs returning ahead of him is unrealistic. Fade Wilson in season-long formats tonight.
