Bears TE Cole Kmet Carted Off With Knee Injury
Kmet left Thursday's game on a cart after a fourth-quarter tackle buckled his right knee — his fantasy status is very much in doubt going forward.
Bears tight end Cole Kmet was carted off the field with a right knee injury, according to ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports). With 5:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, Kmet caught an 8-yard pass from Caleb Williams before linebacker Robert Spillane and cornerback Christian Gonzalez tackled him low. Kmet immediately grabbed his right knee, could not put weight on his right leg, and required a cart to exit Soldier Field. The Bears ruled him out for the remainder of the game. He finished with three catches for 28 yards.

The cart exit is a worst-case visual for any lower-body injury, and the fact that Kmet couldn't bear weight on his right leg makes this a serious concern. ProFootballTalk does not specify a diagnosis or recovery timeline, so the true severity is unknown until imaging results come back. Drop him from your starting lineup immediately if you have a viable alternative — playing him this coming week is not a risk worth taking. Dynasty managers should hold, but monitor any injury update closely before making a move in either direction.
