weekly recap

2026 Week 4 Fantasy Football Recap

Kenneth Walker explodes for 177 yards, Tetairoa McMillan goes nuclear, and the Falcons' backfield torches the Saints on Monday night.

Week 4 was a fantasy manager's stress test. Running backs dominated the highlight reel — Kenneth Walker, Bijan Robinson, Brian Robinson, Kyren Williams, and Kyle Monangai all delivered monster games — while several star receivers missed the mark and injuries added chaos at quarterback. Here's everything that happened.

Pittsburgh Steelers 24 at Cleveland Browns 27

Cleveland held on for a three-point home win, with the fantasy story on both sides being the passing games carrying more weight than expected.

  • Aaron Rodgers massively beat his 13.6 PPR projection, finishing with 299 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, and 23.96 fantasy points. He took 5 sacks, but 3 TDs will erase a lot of sins.

  • DK Metcalf (9 targets, 5 catches, 115 yards, 16.5 PPR) cleared his 10.2 projection easily. The volume is real — he's been a target hog in this Pittsburgh offense.

  • Roman Wilson (6 targets, 3 catches, 74 yards, 1 TD, 16.4 PPR) smashed his 5.6 projection on just 30.6% snap share. That's efficiency doing the work, not volume — don't expect 74-yard games every week at that snap rate.

  • Jaylen Warren (20 touches, 93 rush yards, 33 rec yards, 15.6 PPR) came in right at his 14.5 projection. His 97.2% snap share confirms he's the lead dog in Pittsburgh's backfield.

  • Darnell Washington (5 targets, 3 catches, 27 yards, 1 TD, 11.7 PPR) nearly tripled his 4.1 projection. Red zone role (2 red zone targets) is what makes him relevant.

  • Pat Freiermuth (5 targets, 3 catches, 17 yards, 1 TD, 10.7 PPR) hit exactly his 7.5 projection range. Both Pittsburgh TEs scored — congestion at TE is a recurring theme.

  • Quinshon Judkins (23 touches, 53 rush yards, 1 TD, 6 rec, 43 rec yards, 21.6 PPR) beat his 11.5 projection by a wide margin. He's the workhorse in Cleveland with a 65.6% snap share — he's a genuine RB2 with upside.

  • Deshaun Watson (268 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 2 fumbles, 13.9 PPR) basically matched his 15.1 projection despite the turnover mess. Denzel Boston (4 catches, 89 yards, 12.9 PPR) and KC Concepcion (5 catches, 64 yards, 11.4 PPR) both beat their projections.

  • Harold Fannin (3 catches, 27 yards, 1 TD, 11.7 PPR) came in right at his 11.4 projection and continues to be a reliable starting TE.

Looking ahead: Warren's locked in as Pittsburgh's lead back. Wilson's efficiency is impressive but his snap share needs to grow before he's a weekly starter. Judkins is a legitimate RB2 in Cleveland.

Indianapolis Colts 30 at Washington Commanders 13

This London game was played with both teams missing key personnel. Washington was down to a third-string QB after Marcus Mariota (MCL sprain) was injured, meaning rookie Athan Kaliakmanis finished the game. The Colts controlled it behind Jonathan Taylor.

  • Jonathan Taylor (20 carries, 95 rush yards, 2 TDs, 22.7 PPR) exceeded his already-strong 20.3 projection. He hit the end zone twice and handled 71.2% of the snaps — locked in.

  • Daniel Jones (143 yards, 0 pass TDs, 1 rush TD, 1 INT, 1 fumble lost, 8.9 PPR) missed his 16.8 projection badly. The box score was ugly, though his rushing TD kept him from being a complete disaster.

  • Tyler Warren (5 catches, 41 yards, 9.1 PPR) missed his 12.9 projection. Not the usage you want from a TE who's supposed to be a featured piece of the offense.

  • Laquon Treadwell stepped up in the absence of Keenan Allen (out, groin) with 5 catches for 42 yards. Useful only while Allen sits.

  • Athan Kaliakmanis (186 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT on 15-of-33) filled in for Washington after Mariota went down. He threw a 47-yard TD strike to Treylon Burks (1 catch, 47 yards, 1 TD) — a fun bit of deep-ball variance.

  • Jacory Croskey-Merritt (9 carries, 15 yards, 2 catches, 35 yards, 7.0 PPR) missed his 9.9 projection as Washington's backfield sputtered without a real QB.

Looking ahead: Taylor is a locked-in RB1. Washington's QB situation is a mess — Jayden Daniels (dislocated elbow) is reportedly being evaluated for Week 5 availability, but it's far from certain. Avoid Washington pass-catchers until the quarterback situation stabilizes.

Tennessee Titans 18 at Baltimore Ravens 24

Baltimore won, but the big story was Lamar Jackson's injury. He was outstanding in the first half — 222 yards, 2 TDs on just 20 attempts — but limped off late in the second quarter with an ankle injury and didn't return.

  • Lamar Jackson is listed as Questionable for Week 5, and reports indicate there's only an "outside chance" he plays Sunday. His 18.88 PPR points came almost entirely from the first half. Fade him hard unless you get a significant green light before kickoff.

  • Zay Flowers (10 targets, 8 catches, 118 yards, 1 TD, 25.8 PPR) crushed his 17.3 projection. He's Baltimore's clear WR1.

  • Derrick Henry (23 carries, 73 yards, 1 TD, 15.9 PPR) missed his 18.3 projection. Limited efficiency (3.17 ypc) but the volume (23 carries, 62.5% snap share) keeps him relevant. He'll carry more of the load if Jackson misses time.

  • Mark Andrews (6 targets, 5 catches, 27 yards, 1 TD, 13.7 PPR) cleared his 10.7 projection thanks to the score, but a waiver wire article noted a Baltimore youth movement cutting into veteran targets. Worth watching.

  • Carnell Tate (12 targets, 9 catches, 145 yards, 21.5 PPR) smashed his 10.1 projection and is clearly Tennessee's WR1. The volume (12 targets, 84.4% snaps) is real even in a losing effort.

  • Tony Pollard (16 carries, 48 yards, 1 TD, 2 catches, 13.0 PPR) beat his 10.0 projection. The Titans leaned on him late.

  • Tyler Loop hit a 64-yard field goal as time expired in the first half — not a streaming target going forward, but a genuinely wild moment.

Looking ahead: Jackson's Week 5 status is the biggest injury watch of the week. If he's out, Henry becomes a smash and Baltimore pass-catchers become near-fades. Tate is a must-start WR2 the rest of the season.

New England Patriots 29 at Buffalo Bills 26

New England pulled the upset in Buffalo, with Drake Maye putting up the best fantasy day of any QB this week.

  • Drake Maye (269 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 54 rush yards, 27.16 PPR) crushed his 17.9 projection. He's been an elite streamer all season.

  • Romeo Doubs (9 targets, 6 catches, 58 yards, 2 TDs, 23.8 PPR) smashed his 10.1 projection. The TD volume did the work — his 64.5% snap share is the concern if you're banking on this weekly.

  • Efton Chism (4 targets, 2 catches, 42 yards, 1 TD, 12.2 PPR) absolutely buried his 1.6 projection. Coach Mike Vrabel said after the game that Chism has "earned more opportunities." At 44.7% snaps, he can only go up. Add him now.

  • Rhamondre Stevenson (13 carries, 47 yards, 1 TD, 3 catches, 27 yards, 18.4 PPR) beat his 11.1 projection comfortably. He's a solid RB2 at 65.8% snap share.

  • Mack Hollins is listed as Questionable after playing through this game. Monitor his status.

  • Keon Coleman (7 targets, 6 catches, 116 yards, 1 TD, 23.6 PPR) absolutely vaporized his 5.9 projection. The usage was real — 78% snap share, 7 targets. Lock him in as a WR2.

  • Josh Allen (253 pass yards, 1 TD, 54 rush yards, 1 rush TD, 1 INT, 19.5 PPR) missed his 22.5 projection in a losing effort. Not a concern long-term.

  • James Cook (12 carries, 75 yards, 1 TD, 16.3 PPR) came in right at his 16.4 projection. The 59.3% snap share is a little light — keep an eye on Buffalo's backfield split.

Looking ahead: Chism is the clearest waiver wire add from this game. Coleman's target share at 78% snaps makes him a genuine WR2. Doubs needs another week of data before you trust him as anything more than a flex.

New York Jets 12 at Chicago Bears 23

Kyle Monangai ran the Bears to victory in Tyson Bagent's start, while the Jets' offense had nothing going.

  • Kyle Monangai (30 carries, 146 yards, 2 TDs, 28.0 PPR) crushed his 8.7 projection. Thirty carries is a full workload. He's listed as Questionable for Week 5 after that workload — monitor. Caleb Williams (hamstring) remains week to week, keeping Bagent as the starter.

  • Rome Odunze (7 targets, 6 catches, 94 yards, 15.4 PPR) beat his 9.8 projection. Consistent target share at 89.2% snaps — he's a reliable WR2/3.

  • Colston Loveland (9 targets, 6 catches, 57 yards, 11.7 PPR) matched his 10.3 projection right on the nose. He's a safe TE starter.

  • Luther Burden (6 targets, 4 catches, 63 yards, 11.4 PPR) hit his 11.4 projection exactly. Volume is real at 55.9% snaps — he's a borderline WR3/flex.

  • Tyson Bagent (268 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 9.8 PPR) missed his 12.2 projection in a game the Bears won on the ground. Not your guy in fantasy.

  • Geno Smith (15 att, 119 yards, 1 TD, 3 sacks, 8.8 PPR) was brutal. He had only 32 snaps — the Jets were completely shut down. His 15.0 projection was a fantasy disaster.

  • Braelon Allen (14 carries, 59 yards, 2 catches, 8.7 PPR) missed his 10.0 projection in a lost cause. Nothing here.

  • Isaiah Williams (3 targets, 2 catches, 73 yards, 1 TD, 15.3 PPR) exploded past his 3.9 projection on limited volume. That's a touchdown-dependent outlier — don't bank on repeat.

  • Garrett Wilson (4 targets, 3 catches, 27 yards, 5.7 PPR) missed his 16.9 projection by a mile. The Jets' offense is a mess right now.

Looking ahead: Monangai's Questionable tag is the key watch. He's the clear feature back when healthy. Wilson owners should be nervous — the Jets' offense isn't generating the volume needed.

Jacksonville Jaguars 22 at Cincinnati Bengals 17

Jacksonville won a shootout-turned-grind in Cincinnati. Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards in a losing effort; the Bengals just couldn't stop the run when it mattered.

  • Joe Burrow (428 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 1 rush TD, 25.7 PPR) crushed his 18.5 projection. A 54-attempt day inflated totals. The 2 INTs are a concern, but Burrow is still a top-5 QB asset.

  • Tee Higgins (16 targets, 11 catches, 157 yards, 78.9% snap share, 26.7 PPR) smashed her 14.2 projection. Sixteen targets is a monster volume day. He is listed as Questionable — that is the most important fantasy number coming out of this game. If he's healthy, he's a must-start WR1.

  • Chase Brown (11 targets as receiver, 11 catches, 71 rec yards, 9 carries, 10 rush yards, 19.1 PPR) cleared his 17.4 projection. He's a PPR darling — 11 receptions with virtually no rushing upside (1.11 ypc on 9 carries). His value is entirely tied to PPR formats and the passing game.

  • Dohnte Meyers (9 targets, 7 catches, 82 yards, 89.5% snaps, 15.2 PPR) crushed his 4.0 projection. The snap share and target volume say this isn't a fluke — he should be rostered everywhere.

  • Mike Gesicki (5 targets, 3 catches, 40 yards, 1 TD, 13.0 PPR) nearly doubled his 7.5 projection. He's a legitimate streaming TE at 61.8% snaps.

  • Trevor Lawrence (23 att, 227 yards, 1 TD, 4 sacks, 13.1 PPR) badly missed his 19.3 projection. The 4 sacks hurt. Jacksonville won, but Lawrence was not a fantasy asset.

  • Bhayshul Tuten (17 carries, 73 yards, 11.1 PPR) missed his 12.0 projection slightly. He's the starter and serviceable but not exciting.

  • Brenton Strange (8 targets, 7 catches, 95 yards, 16.5 PPR) blew past his 8.9 projection. He's a legitimate TE1 with 86.9% snap share.

  • Cam Little went 3/3 on FGs including 2 from 50-plus yards. He's a top kicker streaming option every week.

Looking ahead: Higgins' Questionable status is the key watch. Meyers is a legit waiver add. Brown's value is PPR-specific — if you're in standard scoring, his floor collapses.

Dallas Cowboys 34 at Houston Texans 30

CeeDee Lamb and Nico Collins both went off in a high-scoring shootout. Dallas came back to win by 4.

  • CeeDee Lamb (21 targets, 17 catches, 189 yards, 1 TD, 41.3 PPR) had an all-time PPR day, nearly doubling his 17.4 projection. Seventeen receptions in a game. He's the fantasy WR1 of the week by a wide margin.

  • Javonte Williams (19 carries, 62 yards, 3 TDs, 5 catches, 31.3 PPR) more than doubled his 14.5 projection thanks to three goal-line touchdowns. He saw 7 red zone carries — that's the role. He's a locked-in RB1 in Dallas.

  • Dak Prescott (335 yards, 1 TD, 18.1 PPR) was right at his 18.0 projection. Nothing exciting — the team won on the ground and through Lamb's volume.

  • Nico Collins (8 targets, 7 catches, 118 yards, 2 TDs, 30.8 PPR) doubled his 15.8 projection. Two TDs on 69.1% snaps. He's been locked in as Houston's WR1 all season.

  • C.J. Stroud (347 yards, 2 TDs, 23.1 PPR) cleared his 18.1 projection. A clean, efficient game.

  • Woody Marks (6 carries, 22 yards, 1 TD, 8.2 PPR) basically matched his 7.9 projection. At 43.6% snaps, the Houston backfield remains a committee.

  • George Pickens (3 targets, 2 catches, 75 yards, 9.5 PPR) missed his 14.3 projection in terms of points but did hit a 53-yarder. The 3 targets show Lamb is cannibalizing everything.

Looking ahead: Williams is a locked-in RB1 with red zone dominance. Lamb is an elite WR1 in every format. Collins is a must-start. Pickens owners need to accept that sharing a target tree with Lamb means your ceiling is capped.

Arizona Cardinals 24 at New York Giants 36

Jameis Winston and the Giants won comfortably despite two interceptions. The Cardinals continue to struggle with Marvin Harrison Jr., who reportedly has trade interest around the league.

  • Jameis Winston (29 att, 250 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 20.0 PPR) beat his 14.8 projection. He was efficient when he wasn't turning it over — classic Jameis.

  • Malik Nabers (7 targets, 6 catches, 112 yards, 1 TD, 23.2 PPR) smashed his 13.1 projection. He's New York's clear WR1.

  • Isaiah Likely (12 targets, 7 catches, 66 yards, 13.6 PPR) came in right at his 11.0 projection. Twelve targets is volume worth trusting.

  • Malachi Fields (3 targets, 2 catches, 52 yards, 1 TD, 13.2 PPR) crushed his 6.9 projection. He's a touchdown-dependent flier at 65.7% snaps.

  • Marvin Harrison (4 targets, 1 catch, 12 yards, 1 TD, 8.2 PPR) hit his 7.7 projection but with terrible efficiency. Multiple reports indicate teams are calling about his availability ahead of the November trade deadline. He's a low-floor boom-bust play until his situation changes.

  • Michael Wilson (13 targets, 7 catches, 95 yards, 16.5 PPR) beat his 12.7 projection. Thirteen targets with Arizona's other options struggling — he's a real WR2 right now.

  • Trey McBride (12 targets, 7 catches, 31 yards, 10.1 PPR) missed his 17.4 projection badly. Twelve targets is the right volume, but 31 yards on 7 catches is a bad efficiency day. Buy-low opportunity.

  • Tyler Allgeier (8 carries, 42 yards, 1 TD, 12.9 PPR) beat his 7.7 projection. Red zone work (2 carries) gave him the TD.

Looking ahead: Nabers is a must-start WR1. Wilson's 13 targets make him a legitimate WR2/3. McBride's volume is there — the efficiency will normalize. Fade Harrison until there's clarity on his situation.

Los Angeles Rams 24 at Philadelphia Eagles 20

The Rams won in Philadelphia, with Kyren Williams having a monster game and the Eagles' offense struggling badly.

  • Kyren Williams (16 carries, 80 rush yards, 2 TDs, 13 targets, 10 catches, 67 rec yards, 36.7 PPR) obliterated his 13.5 projection. He touched the ball 26 times. That's a true feature-back workload, and he was criminally undervalued going in.

  • Puka Nacua (12 targets, 9 catches, 125 yards, 1 rush TD, 27.7 PPR) smashed his 16.8 projection. Nine catches and a rushing score. He's a WR1 asset.

  • Jalen Hurts (27 att, 93 yards, 2 TDs, 4 sacks, 13.5 PPR) badly missed his 17.9 projection. A 44.4% completion percentage in a losing effort is alarming. The Eagles' offense is broken right now.

  • Darius Cooper (7 targets, 3 catches, 33 yards, 2 TDs, 18.3 PPR) crushed his 2.6 projection with two red zone scores. At 90.2% snap share, he's playing a lot — but his production is entirely TD-dependent.

  • Matthew Stafford (317 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, 11.7 PPR) missed his 15.8 projection, but the wins-by-committee game plan masked it. His two INTs are the concern.

  • Davante Adams (9 targets, 4 catches, 32 yards, 7.2 PPR) missed his 12.8 projection despite a 95.2% snap share. He's not this bad — regression incoming.

  • Tyler Higbee (6 targets, 5 catches, 67 yards, 11.7 PPR) crushed his 4.1 projection. Solid TE streaming option.

Looking ahead: Williams is an RB1 every week until further notice. Nacua is locked in as a WR1. Hurts owners should be concerned — if the completion percentage doesn't improve, the floor on his passing stats will drag his value down. Adams will be fine, but Stafford's accuracy may be the actual issue.

Green Bay Packers 17 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14

Green Bay escaped with a narrow road win. Buccaneers rookie Jalon Daniels made his first career start in place of the injured Baker Mayfield.

  • Tucker Kraft (7 targets, 6 catches, 42 yards, 1 TD, 16.5 PPR) beat his 10.2 projection comfortably. He's Rodgers' — wait, Jordan Love's — go-to weapon in the red zone (3 red zone targets).

  • Jordan Love (30 att, 197 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 14.1 PPR) missed his 16.8 projection in a game where Green Bay ran with the lead. Fine as a mid-tier QB.

  • Matthew Golden (7 targets, 3 catches, 21 yards, 1 TD, 11.7 PPR) matched his 11.7 projection. TD-dependent at 88.3% snaps.

  • MarShawn Lloyd (7 carries, 13 yards, 5 catches, 36 yards, 9.9 PPR) basically matched his 7.9 projection. He's not a feature back in Green Bay — treat him as a flex/PPR dart.

  • Jalon Daniels (27 att, 148 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 55 rush yards, 13.4 PPR) was just below his 13.9 projection considering his mobility. He runs the offense — but with two turnovers in a loss, Tampa Bay will likely look to get Mayfield back when healthy.

  • Bucky Irving (16 carries, 61 yards, 6.1 PPR) badly missed his 13.5 projection. No touchdowns and no receiving work.

  • Chris Godwin (7 targets, 6 catches, 31 yards, 9.1 PPR) met his 9.0 projection on volume but produced nothing useful in standard scoring. He's a PPR floor play only.

  • Kenny Gainwell (3 carries, 5 yards, 2 catches, 22 yards, 1 TD, 10.7 PPR) beat his 8.3 projection with a red zone receiving TD.

Looking ahead: Kraft is a legitimate TE1. The Bucs' offensive situation is murky with Daniels starting and Mayfield's return timeline unknown — proceed with caution across the Tampa Bay skill positions.

Miami Dolphins 10 at Minnesota Vikings 15

Minnesota won without reaching the end zone — five Will Reichard field goals did the damage. Miami was a mess with Malik Willis at quarterback.

  • Will Reichard went 5-for-5 on FGs including a 50-yarder for 19.0 fantasy points, more than doubling his 8.5 projection. Best kicker performance of the week by far.

  • T.J. Hockenson (13 targets, 13 catches, 119 yards, 24.9 PPR) nearly tripled his 8.4 projection. A perfect game in terms of target share — the Vikings fed him the ball all day with no touchdowns available. He's a TE1.

  • Aaron Jones (20 carries, 94 yards, 4 catches, 34 yards, 16.8 PPR) matched his 14.4 projection. He's Minnesota's bell cow at 73.1% snaps.

  • Kyler Murray (37 att, 247 yards, 0 TDs, 14.4 PPR wait — no, 11.5 PPR) missed his 19.4 projection badly. Zero passing TDs in a game his team won is brutal for fantasy. The Vikings were content to run the clock and kick field goals.

  • Malik Willis (17 att, 85 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 2.5 PPR) shredded his 13.7 projection in the worst way. He was a disaster, completing only 53% of passes for 85 yards.

  • Ollie Gordon (9 carries, 100 yards, 1 TD, 18.0 PPR) crushed his 6.1 projection on just 11 touches. A 53-yard run skewed his efficiency — at 56.4% snaps and only 9 carries, he's not a reliable starter yet.

  • Malik Washington (5 targets, 5 catches, 67 yards, 12.0 PPR) beat his 8.5 projection with a 100% catch rate. He's a legitimate streaming WR option when Willis is playing this poorly.

Looking ahead: Hockenson is a must-start TE1. Jones is a solid RB2. Miami's passing game is a fantasy wasteland until a competent QB takes over. Gordon is a speculative pickup — the snap share needs to grow before he's startable.

Kansas City Chiefs 30 at Las Vegas Raiders 27

Kansas City survived a scare in Las Vegas. Kenneth Walker ran wild while Tyquan Thornton lit up the box score — but Thornton is now listed as Out.

  • Kenneth Walker (22 carries, 177 yards, 2 TDs, 30.9 PPR) demolished his 18.0 projection. A 76-yard TD run was the exclamation point. He's the RB1 in Kansas City with a clear 75% snap share.

  • Tyquan Thornton (8 targets, 5 catches, 111 yards, 2 TDs, 28.1 PPR) crushed his 5.4 projection in a career game — and is now listed as Out for Week 5. Enjoy the memory. Whatever opens up in the KC WR room needs to be monitored.

  • Patrick Mahomes (30 att, 225 yards, 2 TDs, 17.0 PPR) missed his 20.3 projection. He won, but this was a game managed on the ground.

  • Xavier Worthy (7 targets, 4 catches, 70 yards, 11.0 PPR) matched his 9.4 projection. With Thornton out, his target share should climb significantly in Week 5.

  • Kirk Cousins (52 att, 365 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 23.6 PPR) crushed his 13.2 projection. The Raiders fed him the ball all night.

  • Brock Bowers (11 targets, 6 catches, 86 yards, 1 TD, 20.6 PPR) cleared his 14.8 projection. He's an elite TE1.

  • Ashton Jeanty (15 carries, 58 yards, 8 targets, 6 catches, 68 rec yards, 18.6 PPR) matched his 15.9 projection. He's a true dual-threat back and legitimate RB2.

  • Michael Mayer (10 targets, 8 catches, 82 yards, 16.2 PPR) tripled his 5.3 projection. He's suddenly a legitimate TE streamer with the usage to back it up.

Looking ahead: Walker is an RB1. Worthy becomes significantly more interesting with Thornton out. Mayer is worth picking up everywhere. Bowers remains a top-5 TE.

Los Angeles Chargers 23 at Seattle Seahawks 30

Seattle won behind Emanuel Wilson's breakout performance. The Chargers lost five players to injury during the game, including key offensive linemen and Ladd McConkey.

  • Emanuel Wilson (21 carries, 81 yards, 1 TD, 3 catches, 39 yards, 1 rec TD, 27.0 PPR) absolutely torched his 6.5 projection. He's the clear lead back in Seattle after this — the team had planned to use receiver Rashid Shaheed in the backfield because of RB injuries, which tells you how thin it was. Wilson stepped up and took over.

  • Rashid Shaheed (2 carries, 33 yards, 1 rush TD, 1 catch, 20 yards, 12.3 PPR) beat his 7.4 projection. The Seahawks planned all along to use him in the backfield per reports, but it's a situational role — not a real workhorse job.

  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba (6 targets, 5 catches, 76 yards, 12.6 PPR) badly missed his 20.6 projection. He was the featured receiver and the volume was okay — no touchdowns killed him. He's still the WR1 here and should bounce back.

  • Sam Darnold (22 att, 168 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 14.3 PPR) was just below his 16.4 projection. He was efficient in a run-heavy game.

  • Justin Herbert (31 att, 189 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 4 sacks, 11.6 PPR) missed his 14.7 projection badly. The offensive line was a disaster — 35 sack yards allowed and five injuries during the game. The Chargers' offense was in shambles.

  • Omarion Hampton (9 carries, 45 yards, 1 TD, 13.3 PPR) slightly beat his 11.0 projection. He's a legitimate RB2 in a shared backfield.

  • Keaton Mitchell and Kimani Vidal also got work as the Chargers spread the carries.

Looking ahead: Wilson is an immediate waiver wire priority — lock him in as an RB2. Smith-Njigba's volume is real; he'll be fine. The Chargers' backfield and offensive line situation need to be monitored after all those injuries — Herbert's fantasy value takes a hit if the line can't protect him.

Denver Broncos 14 at San Francisco 49ers 24

San Francisco moved to 4-0 behind a complete team performance. Denver couldn't keep up.

  • Brock Purdy (30 att, 218 yards, 2 TDs, 19.6 PPR) matched his 19.0 projection almost exactly. Including a 56-yard TD to Kittle.

  • George Kittle (6 targets, 4 catches, 70 yards, 1 TD, 17.0 PPR) beat his 11.7 projection. The 56-yarder was the difference. He's a weekly TE1.

  • Christian McCaffrey (15 carries, 52 yards, 1 TD, 3 catches, 18 yards, 16.0 PPR) missed his 18.5 projection at 74.2% snaps. Modest efficiency, but the TD kept him relevant. He's still a must-start.

  • Deebo Samuel (6 targets, 5 catches, 26 yards, 1 TD, 3 carries, 44 rush yards, 18.0 PPR) beat his 10.2 projection. His dual-threat usage (66.7% snaps) keeps him a solid flex.

  • Mike Evans (8 targets, 5 catches, 76 yards, 12.6 PPR) matched his 11.8 projection. He's fitting into SF's offense at 59.1% snaps.

  • Bo Nix (42 att, 214 yards, 1 TD, 13.6 PPR) missed his 16.6 projection. Denver was chasing all game and still couldn't score enough.

  • RJ Harvey (10 targets, 10 catches, 68 rec yards, 7 carries, 25 rush yards, 19.3 PPR) beat his 10.1 projection on big passing-game volume. At only 44.6% snaps, his rushing role is limited — he's a PPR back, not a true workhorse.

  • Jaylen Waddle (6 targets, 5 catches, 35 yards, 1 TD, 14.5 PPR) slightly beat his 12.3 projection.

  • Pat Bryant is listed as Questionable for Week 5.

Looking ahead: The 49ers are 4-0 and their entire offense is trustworthy. Harvey's passing-game role is interesting in PPR, but his snap share limits his floor. Denver's offense is fine for streaming but don't count on any one piece.

Detroit Lions 26 at Carolina Panthers 32

Carolina upset Detroit in a Sunday night thriller, with Tetairoa McMillan putting up the biggest WR performance of the week and Chuba Hubbard running over the Lions' defense.

  • Tetairoa McMillan (16 targets, 14 catches, 192 yards, 2 TDs, 45.2 PPR) destroyed his 13.8 projection. Sixteen targets, 89.3% snap share. That's an alpha WR1 performance. He's a must-start every week.

  • Chuba Hubbard (20 carries, 122 yards, 2 TDs, 25.9 PPR) crushed his 15.3 projection. He's Carolina's clear bell cow at 84% snaps.

  • Bryce Young (41 att, 329 yards, 2 TDs, 21.5 PPR) beat his 18.5 projection. He was efficient all night — this is exactly what the Panthers need from him.

  • Jared Goff (52 att, 412 yards, 1 TD, 20.5 PPR) beat his 17.6 projection in a losing effort. The Lions needed to throw constantly after falling behind.

  • Sam LaPorta (13 targets, 8 catches, 84 yards, 1 TD, 22.4 PPR) crushed his 11.1 projection. He's a locked-in TE1.

  • Jahmyr Gibbs (15 carries, 46 yards, 1 TD, 7 targets, 4 catches, 17.7 PPR) badly missed his 24.1 projection. A rare off day — he'll bounce back. The concern is the Lions fell behind and became one-dimensional.

  • Amon-Ra St. Brown (11 targets, 8 catches, 75 yards, 15.5 PPR) missed his 19.4 projection. Volume was there — no TD again hurt.

  • Jameson Williams (8 targets, 6 catches, 102 yards, 16.2 PPR) beat his 11.4 projection. He's developing into a legitimate WR2.

  • Jake Bates hit 4/4 FGs including a 54-yarder for 18 fantasy points. He's a must-start kicker.

Looking ahead: McMillan and Hubbard are must-starts. Gibbs will bounce back — one bad week doesn't erase his role. St. Brown needs a TD to deliver the ceiling his ADP (average draft position) demands.

Atlanta Falcons 45 at New Orleans Saints 24

The Monday night finale was no contest. Atlanta ruined the Saints' "Domecoming" celebration, with Michael Penix continuing to lead a dominant offense now averaging 40 points per game in his two starts.

  • Bijan Robinson (19 carries, 145 yards, 2 TDs, 27.7 PPR) nearly doubled his 21.4 projection. He hit a 59-yard TD in the first quarter and Atlanta leaned on the ground game all night.

  • Brian Robinson (14 carries, 62 yards, 3 TDs, 25.7 PPR) buried his 5.3 projection — which was essentially a nothing projection. Three rushing TDs in a game where Atlanta didn't need to throw. Combined, the two Robinsons totaled 5 TDs exactly as reported.

  • Drake London (6 targets, 5 catches, 96 yards, 14.6 PPR) slightly missed her 16.2 projection, though 96 yards is a solid night. The ground game dominance limited her ceiling.

  • Jahan Dotson (3 targets, 2 catches, 54 yards, 1 TD, 13.4 PPR) absolutely crushed his 5.1 projection. He's a legitimate WR3/flex with this Atlanta offense rolling.

  • Michael Penix (20 att, 223 yards, 1 TD, 12.7 PPR) missed his 14.4 projection only because the game was over early. His 127.7 passer rating shows the efficiency. He's a fringe starter in 2-QB formats.

  • Alvin Kamara (7 touches, 23 rush yards, 2 TDs, 5 catches, 35 yards, 22.8 PPR) crushed his 8.9 projection with a two-score night. He's listed as Questionable for Week 5 — a critical watch. Multiple reports show concern about his usage and health. If he's out, New Orleans' backfield is a mess.

  • Chris Olave (12 targets, 8 catches, 116 yards, 19.6 PPR) was New Orleans' bright spot, beating his 18.4 projection. He's a legitimate WR2 even in garbage time.

  • Devaughn Vele (9 targets, 6 catches, 54 yards, 1 TD, 17.4 PPR) beat his 9.9 projection. He's a real piece of the Saints' passing game and worth rostering.

  • Tyler Shough (48 att, 286 yards, 1 TD, 2 sacks, 15.9 PPR) missed his 18.8 projection. He was chasing all game but showed some arm talent.

  • Juwan Johnson (8 targets, 6 catches, 59 yards, 11.9 PPR) basically matched his 11.3 projection.

Looking ahead: Bijan Robinson is a locked-in RB1. Brian Robinson is a startable RB2 with this offense scoring 40+ points. Kamara's Questionable status is critical — check it before setting your lineup. Dotson is worth adding everywhere. Olave is a safe WR2 in New Orleans' pass-heavy approach.
