2026 Week 6 Fantasy Football Recap
Overtime thrillers, a London stunner, a Steelers comeback, and more key fantasy takeaways from every game.
Week 6 was a mess in the best possible way. Three overtime games, a blown double-digit lead, a backup QB going nuclear in London, and the Steelers trailing by 13 in the fourth quarter before winning. Fantasy rosters got shredded and saved in equal measure. Here's everything you need to know.
Seattle Seahawks 14 at Denver Broncos 17
Thursday night OT handed Denver the win after Sam Darnold threw a pick on Seattle's first overtime possession. Darnold finished 27-of-51 for 278 yards with two interceptions and a 52.6 passer rating — well short of his 15.1 PPR projection. He's now a turnover machine and a streaming liability until proven otherwise.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba was the one bright spot. He caught 12 of 16 targets for 134 yards (25.4 PPR points), smashing his 21.1 projection. That usage — 91.8% snap share, 16 targets — is WR1 volume by any measure. Lock him in every week.
Rashid Shaheed was the story for the wrong reasons: he fumbled, which led to a TE Elijah Arroyo shoulder injury while trying to recover the ball. Arroyo is expected to miss time (injury flagged). Shaheed ran a 45.9% snap share at 39 snaps — a clear secondary role — and his fumble risk undercuts his upside. Monitor Arroyo's timeline; his absence could push targets elsewhere.
Cooper Kupp beat his 6.4 projection with 10.0 PPR points on 5/10 targets, but 50 yards and no score is a ceiling game for him here. George Holani scored on 5 touches (57.6% snap share) and beat his 6.1 projection, but Denver's backfield has reinforcements potentially returning soon — Jonah Coleman could be back Week 7, Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price are not far behind on Seattle's end.
For Denver, Bo Nix put up just 107 yards and 4.48 fantasy points — a massive miss against a 14.4 projection. The Broncos' offense still looks lost without a reliable passing attack. Both team's backfields are committees in transition; treat with caution until the depth charts stabilize.
Houston Texans 34 at Jacksonville Jaguars 31
The London game delivered. C.J. Stroud was surgical: 24-of-34 for 312 yards, three touchdowns, and a 116.3 passer rating. He destroyed his 15.1 projection (23.98 PPR points). This is three straight top-3 QB finishes based on available context — he's a weekly QB1.
Jaylin Noel was the game's biggest fantasy surprise. He caught all 4 of his targets for 107 yards and a TD (20.7 PPR points) against a 5.7 projection — a 15-point outperformance. He played only 49.2% of snaps, but every route turned into a play. The Texans also plan to activate Tank Dell for Week 7, which will likely cut into Noel's routes. Sell the peak while you still can. Nico Collins disappointed at 10.9 points against a 17.6 projection on just 5 targets — Tank Dell's return will eat into his targets too. Monitor this situation closely.
Foster Moreau caught both of his targets for two touchdowns (14.7 PPR points, 12.7 standard). He massively outperformed his 3.1 projection, but two catches and two touchdowns is the definition of a TD-dependent game. Don't chase it.
Jawhar Jordan showed up for Houston on the ground: 43 yards and a TD on just 6 carries (22.2% snap share). His 50.1 PPR projection in the data appears to be a data anomaly — treat with caution. His actual role is limited.
For Jacksonville, Trevor Lawrence had his best game of the season: 24-of-41 for 306 yards, four TDs (28.34 PPR points), blowing past his 17.4 projection. Bhayshul Tuten scored twice through the air and added 39 rushing yards — 24.7 PPR points against a 12.2 projection. He ran 57.7% of snaps; the volume is real. Travis Hunter continued his two-way act: 4/4 targets for 59 yards and a TD on offense, plus an interception on defense. He saw only 12.7% offensive snap share — don't draft him as a WR starter, but dynasty managers should note the trajectory. Parker Washington saw 11 targets but converted just 4 of them for 64 yards, well below his 14.9 projection. Three drops hurt; fade until the hands clean up.
The Jaguars are on bye in Week 7. Lawrence and Tuten are on the upswing — both are strong starts when they return.
Chicago Bears 31 at Atlanta Falcons 23
Caleb Williams returned from a torn hamstring and looked fully healthy: 30-of-36 for 305 yards and a TD (16.5 PPR points). He roughly hit his 17.8 projection and is off the injury report for Week 7's Thursday night game. Good sign.
D'Andre Swift was the engine: 16 carries for 44 yards, 2 rushing TDs, and 4 catches for 26 yards — 23.0 PPR points against a 14.9 projection. Two scores inflated the number, but he ran 58.4% of snaps and handled goal-line work. He's a reliable RB2. Roschon Johnson also scored and totaled 14.5 PPR points (3.1 projection) on 15 touches — a real contributor in a split. Watch how the workload shakes out going forward; Johnson is worth stashing.
Colston Loveland caught 6 of 7 targets for 65 yards and a TD (18.5 PPR, beating his 9.5 projection). He ran 88.3% of snaps — this is a role that's locked in. He's a TE1 as long as that usage holds. Luther Burden was efficient in a part-time role: 8 catches for 95 yards on only 30 offensive snaps (39% snap share). He beat his 11.7 projection (17.5 PPR), but his limited snap count caps the ceiling week-to-week.
For Atlanta, Michael Penix put up a big stat line — 3 TDs, 225 yards — but took 5 sacks and is listed as questionable. Flag that heading into Week 7. Kyle Pitts caught two TDs on 7 targets for 23.0 PPR points, crushing his 7.9 projection. That's the ceiling game everyone hoped for — he's worth starting but remains touchdown-dependent. Bijan Robinson disappointed badly: 9 carries, 61 yards, no score, and negative receiving yards — 7.3 PPR points against a 23.3 projection. No touchdowns, limited role (78% snap share but only 11 touches). Keep starting him; the negative receiving yards are noise, but this offense didn't feed him enough.
Penix's questionable tag is the most important note for Week 7 from this game. Monitor his practice status heading into the short-week schedule.
Baltimore Ravens 10 at Cleveland Browns 13
Cleveland won on a walk-off 37-yard field goal as time expired, moving into first place. Both offenses were awful. Tyler Huntley started again with Lamar Jackson sidelined (ankle), posting 165 yards, 1 TD, and a fumble. He beat his meager 5.6 projection (13.4 PPR) but is a streaming floor at best — and even that could disappear if Jackson returns. Lamar "potentially" returning to practice this week per the Ravens' coaching staff.
Derrick Henry fumbled at a critical moment and finished with just 5.0 PPR points against an 18.1 projection. The fumble cost the Ravens the lead and ultimately the game. He ran 57.9% of snaps — the role is there, but this was a bad game on a bad day for the whole offense. Don't panic-drop him. Zay Flowers led Baltimore in targets (11) but converted just 6 catches for 66 yards and no score — 12.7 PPR against a 15.8 projection. Fine floor, not the ceiling everyone needed. Josh Cuevas caught 4 of 5 targets for 44 yards and a TD (14.4 PPR) in limited snaps — a nice surprise on 40.4% snap share. He's a dart throw TE while Lamar remains out.
For Cleveland, Deshaun Watson managed the game (164 yards, no TDs, 5 sacks) and the defense did the rest. Audric Estime scored the game-tying TD and totaled 7.9 PPR points — but he ran only 9 carries against his 15.6 projection. Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin split the load; McLaughlin had more carries (9) and more receptions (4). This is a murky committee. The most important fantasy note: if Lamar Jackson returns for Week 7, the Ravens' offense — and Henry's value — resets immediately.
Tennessee Titans 26 at Indianapolis Colts 20
Tennessee's first win of 2026. Jonathan Taylor nearly carried the Colts to a comeback: 21 carries for 94 yards, a TD, and 2 catches for 57 yards — 21.1 PPR points, essentially matching his 20.8 projection. He also fumbled. The workload (23 touches, 78.3% snap share) is RB1 territory. Start him confidently.
Keenan Allen led the Colts in targets (11) and catches (8) for 82 yards — 16.2 PPR against a 9.0 projection. Solid floor play. Josh Downs underperformed at 8.7 PPR against a 12.0 projection on 8 targets; he has the volume but the efficiency wasn't there.
For Tennessee, Cam Ward struggled: 11-of-22 for 102 yards and 7.78 PPR points against a 13.7 projection. The Titans won with defense and Carnell Tate's big game — 6 catches for 70 yards and a TD on just 34 offensive snaps (19.0 PPR vs. 12.2 projection). Tate's contested-catch ability is earning him work. Tony Pollard rushed 19 times for 76 yards on 76.1% snap share, but fell short of his 11.6 projection and didn't score. The Titans won ugly; don't trust this passing game until Ward develops.
New York Jets 19 at New England Patriots 26
The Patriots won their third straight. Drake Maye threw three TDs and added 24 rushing yards — 23.8 PPR points, beating his 20.1 projection. He's operating like a legitimate QB1.
DeMario Douglas caught 7 of 8 targets for 86 yards and a TD (19.6 PPR vs. 7.3 projection). He fumbled but still delivered. The opportunity is real — he's worth starting. Hunter Henry also scored on 4 catches for 48 yards (14.8 PPR vs. 10.0 projection). Both Douglas and Henry look locked in as targets. A.J. Brown is listed questionable after this game — he caught just 3 of 10 targets for 27 yards and dropped three passes (5.7 PPR, massively below his projection). His availability and role in Week 7's Thursday game against Chicago are both uncertain.
For the Jets, Omar Cooper was the standout: 6 catches for 103 yards and a TD (22.3 PPR vs. 1.8 projection). He beat one of the most extreme projections misses of the week. His snap share (82.3%) says the role is legitimate. Grab him on waivers immediately. Garrett Wilson posted just 8.4 PPR against a 14.4 projection on 6 targets — well below expectations. Braelon Allen ran 17 times for 78 yards on 87.1% snap share; no score kept his total modest (12.4 PPR vs. 9.8 projection), but the volume is locked in.
Watch A.J. Brown's status carefully — if he misses Thursday, Douglas and Henry see even more targets.
New Orleans Saints 34 at New York Giants 27
The Giants QB situation is messy. Jameis Winston started but threw two interceptions and was replaced by J.J. McCarthy, who went 11-of-21 for 243 yards and a TD on 40.3% snap share. McCarthy far exceeded his 0.8 PPR projection. Winston missed his 15.0 projection (8.48 PPR). The quarterback situation in New York is officially unsettled — watch the depth chart this week.
Malik Nabers was dominant regardless of who was throwing: 12 catches for 165 yards on 15 targets (28.5 PPR vs. 14.4 projection). He's a WR1 threat every week no matter who lines up under center. Isaiah Likely caught 6 of 11 targets for 99 yards and a TD plus a two-point conversion (23.9 PPR vs. 13.5 projection). He was the TE1 on the week. Lock both of these players into your lineup. Tyrone Tracy scored twice on just 8 touches (37.7% snap share, 18.5 PPR against a 1.7 projection) — a massive outperformance driven purely by touchdowns, not volume. The Giants are running a murky RB committee; coach Harbaugh reportedly said someone needs to "do something" to earn the job.
For New Orleans, Tyler Shough had a huge day: 3 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 32 rushing yards — 26.96 PPR points against a 17.5 projection. Alvin Kamara scored a receiving TD but played only 26.4% of snaps and is listed questionable. His limited role is concerning. Kendre Miller handled 20 carries for 70 yards (44.4% snap share). Chris Olave scored once but finished below his 17.4 projection (14.3 PPR). Kamara's questionable tag matters most heading into Week 7.
Carolina Panthers 25 at Philadelphia Eagles 14
The Eagles played without Jalen Hurts — out indefinitely with a blood clot — and Tanner McKee struggled: 26-of-45 for 215 yards, 1 TD (12.6 PPR). The Eagles won't get back to normal offensively until Hurts returns, which will not happen this season.
DeVonta Smith led Philadelphia with 14 targets, catching 7 for 75 yards and a score (20.5 PPR vs. 11.1 projection). He's the one reliable fantasy piece. Dameon Pierce scored and totaled 15.0 PPR points on 95.3% snap share — his role is locked in as the lead back while Barkley is out. Dallas Goedert caught 6 of 8 targets for 61 yards (12.1 PPR vs. 10.1 projection). Keep starting him in your TE slot. Both Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks are listed questionable heading into Week 7.
For Carolina, Chuba Hubbard dominated: 28 carries for 120 yards and a TD on 93.7% snap share (19.1 PPR vs. 15.9 projection). He's a workhorse RB2. Tommy Tremble caught all 4 of his targets for 2 TDs (20.6 PPR vs. 3.6 projection). Both TDs came in the red zone — a clear role to exploit going forward, though the target total (4) caps the ceiling without another score. Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and 2 TDs despite 3 penalties (19.84 PPR vs. 16.8 projection). Carolina looks like a legitimate offense. Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker both posted useful lines — McMillan (6/9, 86 yards) and Coker (6/13, 97 yards). Both are viable flex options.
The Eagles' pass-catchers are all capped by McKee. If Smith continues seeing 14-target games, she remains a WR2 even in a tough offense.
Pittsburgh Steelers 26 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19
The Steelers trailed 16-3 heading into the fourth quarter and won in overtime. Aaron Rodgers was efficient after a terrible start: 33-of-49 for 253 yards, 2 TDs (17.02 PPR vs. 15.8 projection). He beat the number, but five sacks are a recurring problem. Chris Boswell was the real fantasy hero: 4-of-5 field goals including two 50-pluses (58-yarder was the long), 4 XPs — 17.0 PPR against a 7.1 projection. That's a kicker lottery ticket cashed in full.
Germie Bernard was the fantasy breakout of this game. He caught 11 of 12 targets for 87 yards and a TD (25.7 PPR vs. 8.5 projection). That target share — 93.7% snap share, 12 targets — is legitimate WR1 usage. He's not a fluke. DK Metcalf also had 11 catches on 15 targets for 93 yards (20.3 PPR vs. 13.1 projection). Pittsburgh's receivers are both producing at a high level. Darnell Washington scored and added 4 catches for 25 yards (12.5 PPR vs. 6.5 projection). Jaylen Warren disappointed on 16 touches for 78 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards — 9.8 PPR against a 17.0 projection. No touchdown hurt badly.
For Tampa Bay, Emeka Egbuka saw a massive 16 targets but caught just 7 for 48 yards and a TD (17.8 PPR vs. 10.8 projection). The volume was there; the efficiency wasn't. Bucky Irving ran 19 times but averaged only 2.42 yards per carry — 6.9 PPR against a 14.5 projection. Jalon Daniels threw two costly late interceptions that cost the Bucs the win. Irving and this offense look stuck at 1-5.
Bernard is a must-add if he's still on your waiver wire. Warren's role is real but the floor is shaky without a score.
Arizona Cardinals 18 at Los Angeles Rams 16
The Cardinals stunned the Rams for their second win, and kicker Chad Ryland was the fantasy hero: 6-of-6 field goals (19.0 PPR vs. 6.5 projection). That's the performance of the week at kicker. The Rams scored only two touchdowns all game.
Davante Adams suffered a ruptured hamstring during the game and is listed Out — expected to miss 6–10 weeks per reports. He had only 3 catches for 39 yards before exiting. Drop him and pivot immediately. His absence opens a major role for Puka Nacua, who caught 6 of 7 targets for 80 yards (14.0 PPR) — well below his 22.9 projection but now in line for a volume boost. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum split carries, with Corum the more efficient runner (9 carries for 42 yards and a receiving TD). The Rams are 2-4 and their passing game is in disarray without Adams.
For Arizona, Trey McBride was volume-heavy (9 targets, 7 catches) but totaled only 53 yards and no score — 12.3 PPR against a 16.6 projection. A reliable floor player who needs touchdowns to be elite. Zonovan Knight ran 15 times for 80 yards on 44.4% snap share — massively outperforming his 0.9 projection (11.8 PPR). He's worth a look on waivers.
Adams' injury is the biggest roster news from this game. Nacua shoots up in value; act fast.
Los Angeles Chargers 6 at Kansas City Chiefs 22
Kansas City remains unbeaten at 5-0. Kenneth Walker ran wild: 19 carries for 128 yards and 2 TDs (27.9 PPR vs. 21.0 projection). He has 7 touchdowns on the season and is the NFL's alpha RB right now. He scored on a 33-yarder in the first quarter. Start him every week.
Patrick Mahomes managed the game efficiently (23-of-30 for 272 yards) but without a passing TD — 11.48 PPR against a 19.0 projection. No touchdowns through the air when Walker is doing the scoring limits his ceiling. Xavier Worthy caught all 7 of his targets for 73 yards (14.3 PPR vs. 9.9 projection) — solid floor. Travis Kelce caught 4 of 5 targets for 53 yards (9.3 PPR vs. 11.7 projection) — a fine game in a run-heavy script. Harrison Butker missed a field goal and an extra point; coach Andy Reid still supports him publicly, but he's a problem on fantasy teams.
For the Chargers, this was a disaster. Justin Herbert threw for just 204 yards and an interception (9.76 PPR vs. 13.5 projection). The Chargers are on bye in Week 7.
Buffalo Bills 33 at Las Vegas Raiders 30
The Bills survived a scare in Las Vegas. Josh Allen put up 18.3 PPR points — decent but well below his 24.5 projection, mostly because he wasn't running. James Cook was the engine: 22 carries for 95 yards, a rushing TD, and 3 catches for 58 yards — 24.3 PPR against a 17.2 projection. He's a rock-solid RB1. Keon Coleman scored on a famous Allen backhand flip pass and finished with 4 catches for 59 yards and a TD (15.9 PPR vs. 8.0 projection). Khalil Shakir also scored (13.4 PPR vs. 9.8 projection). Buffalo's WRs are sharing the wealth. Tyler Bass went 4-of-4 on field goals (17.0 PPR vs. 7.7 projection) — another kicker hero week. Dalton Kincaid caught 7 of 8 targets but had no touchdown — 10.8 PPR exactly hitting his projection — and is listed questionable. Watch his status for Week 7. The Bills are on bye in Week 7.
For Las Vegas, Kirk Cousins threw for 313 yards and 2 TDs (19.52 PPR vs. 16.6 projection). Tre Tucker caught two touchdowns on only 5 receptions (26.7 PPR vs. 10.0 projection) — a big score but built on volume (7 targets) and two scores, not elite target share. Ashton Jeanty scored a TD but managed only 22 rushing yards on 10 carries (57.6% snap share, 15.8 PPR vs. 16.1 projection) — he's underperforming his draft-day billing on the ground. Michael Mayer caught 7 of 9 targets for 95 yards (16.5 PPR vs. 8.0 projection). Brock Bowers was frustrating: 4 catches on 9 targets for 70 yards and no score (11.0 PPR vs. 17.8 projection).
Dallas Cowboys 13 at Green Bay Packers 23
Green Bay controlled the game and moved to 4-2. Jordan Love added a rushing TD to his passing line — 276 yards, 1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD (21.24 PPR vs. 20.3 projection). He matched his projection almost exactly. Matthew Golden caught 6 of 13 targets for 104 yards and a TD (22.4 PPR vs. 15.4 projection), despite dropping three balls. He's still the WR1 in Green Bay. Christian Watson went 3-of-8 for 64 yards (9.4 PPR vs. 17.8 projection) — a disappointing effort given the target share. Pierre Strong handled 16 touches but produced only 6.7 PPR standard points. The Packers' RB situation doesn't have a clear lead back locking in volume yet.
For Dallas, CeeDee Lamb saw a massive 18 targets — every ball in the state of Texas was thrown at him — but caught just 9 for 70 yards with no score (16.0 PPR vs. 19.4 projection). His 50% catch rate on 18 looks is a problem. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions against a 18.4 projection (13.02 PPR). George Pickens and Javonte Williams both posted modest lines. The Cowboys are stuck; Lamb's target volume is real but until Dallas connects on those deep shots, the box scores will keep disappointing.
Lamb is a hold — the targets are always going to be there. But this offense has a ceiling problem right now.
Washington Commanders 17 at San Francisco 49ers 23
Monday night's game looked like a blowout at halftime (San Francisco led 20-3) but became a thriller. The 49ers held on 23-17. Brock Purdy hit his projection almost perfectly — 264 yards, 1 TD, and mobility (17.36 PPR vs. 21.1 projection). He's also now the NFL's all-time leader in career passer rating.
Christian McCaffrey had another CMC game: 16 carries for 64 yards, 2 rushing TDs, and 9 catches for 53 yards — 30.7 PPR against a 21.5 projection. He also fumbled but that should not overshadow an overall strong performance. He's the overall PPR RB1 on the week. George Kittle scored once on 5 catches for 69 yards (17.9 PPR vs. 15.2 projection). Mike Evans is listed Out after leaving the game in the first half — he had 3 catches for 94 yards before exiting. His status is the critical injury flag from Monday. If he misses time, Kaelon Black (8 carries, 34 yards) would see more opportunity but is strictly handcuff-level.
For Washington, Jayden Daniels exceeded his 18.4 projection (21.0 PPR) with 300 yards and 2 TDs despite 4 sacks. Rachaad White scored a receiving TD on only 11 touches (15.7 PPR vs. 6.4 projection) — a big outperformance. Stefon Diggs scored once (16.4 PPR vs. 10.6 projection). Chig Okonkwo led Washington in receptions (7) and finished above his 6.7 projection (13.9 PPR). The Commanders are on bye in Week 7. Monitor Mike Evans' status — that's the biggest forward-looking item from this game.
